Green Mojito Smoothie

Green Mojito Smoothie

Ever since the beginning of summer, I have been consistently enjoying smoothies for breakfast or lunch. It’s become a bit of a routine, but in a good way! I’ve discovered that you really can’t go wrong with a smoothie meal, they are so refreshing and sneak a lot of nutrition into one glass. In my case, the smoothies I blend up seem to always land somewhere on the green color spectrum. And, they often include everything but the kitchen sink all blended up. I may get a bit carried away sometimes… This time I went with a green mojito smoothie!

Green Mojito Smoothie

This green mojito smoothie was a happy accident, created out of necessity when I realized that my pot of mint growing on the back deck was getting out of control. I resisted the urge to put ALL the ingredients into the blender, and instead opted for a lime and mint combination with a few other additions. And it ended up being delicious! I also added green powder, because I just couldn’t resist!

I have been using this Organic Traditions green powder, mostly because it was on sale at a local store and I figured why not. It has been a good addition to smoothies and adds probiotics, greens, and turmeric. Yes please!

Anyway, hope you enjoy green mojito smoothie as much as I did!
